What is Distance Reiki Healing?

This is the question I get asked most often. In my many years of experience in doing Reiki, I've learned along the way that trying to explain the science of energy---the how and why of quantum physics, string theory, time/space continuum, or quantum entanglement---is not something most people are interested in---much less comprehend. So, I finally figured out a better way to explain distance healing to my would-be clients without getting too deep into the science.

 

In its most simplistic form, distance healing is akin to the power of prayer. You no doubt have heard countless stories---in fact, miraculous stories!---about people being healed or helped in some way through the power of prayer. When we talk about the power of prayer, what is really going on here is focused attention or intention. We are quite simply sending our focused thoughts of love, light, and prayer, wishing that person for whom we are praying for, good health, happiness, etc. And those thought waves are nothing more than energy being sent at a distance. It's no different than the electricity being sent through our phones, TV, computers, or any other electrical devices. So, there you have it. Nothing complicated about that, right?

 

Every person has it within themselves to bring about healing change, whether it's physical or emotional healing that needs to take place. Sometimes we just need a little help facilitating that change and that is where I come in. As a trained and experienced Distance Healer, I can help remove energy blocks that will enable your own innate energy force to flow freely, allowing your body and mind to heal itself.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How is a Distance Healing Session Conducted?

After you complete the Request An Appointment and prepay your service, we will schedule a day/time for your session. You have the option of choosing either a 30-minute audio-only session or the 60-minute comprehensive audio & visual session. I use Zoom to facilitate the session, so you will need to download the Zoom app onto your phone or computer prior to your appointment. Whether you're using your phone or computer to connect, I recommend using earphones or earbuds to enhance your audio experience.

 

What Can Distance Healing Help With?

Energy healing can help with a myriad of issues, whether it's emotional or physical. While I make no claims of curing or miracles, I will say that in all my years of experience doing this, I have seen and heard of incredible stories from my clients of being positively affected by the release of negative energy blocks. The work that I do is not meant to replace any traditional medical care that you might be receiving, but rather, my work should be viewed as a complementary alternative to whatever other treatment you might be receiving.

Can I Request Energy Healing on Behalf of Someone Else?

Yes, but with their consent. If you are requesting distance healing for someone else, fill out the Request An Appointment section indicating this and I will forward to you my Consent Form.

Are You Currently Still Seeing Clients In-Person?

Yes, I am currently still seeing clients in-person in my office located in Escondido, California. Just let me know when you schedule your appointment if you prefer to be seen in-person. 

How Do I Prepare for My Distance Healing Session?

Make sure you are in a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Try to minimize any outside distractions or noises that may be disruptive to your healing session. Spend a few minutes (or more!) before your scheduled appointment so that you can get yourself in the right frame of mind for receiving. This could include a warm bath, a cup of tea, light a candle, yoga stretches, and deep breathing.

What Can I Do to Stay Grounded and Balanced After a Session?

 

After sessions, my clients often ask how they can maintain their raised frequency and not lapse back into their old ways of being. You can balance your own energy by getting out in nature more, walking barefoot to allow the Earth's energy to support you, smell the flowers and appreciate the good weather. Explore the simple pleasure of delicious and nourishing foods without placing too many restrictions on yourself. Be mindful of the electronic devices and the amount of time spent in front of a computer or phone. Be willing to say "No" when needed and feel more empowered when you set healthy boundaries. Say "Please" and "Thank You" more often to harness the feelings of generosity, kindness, and acceptance. Sing out loud or move to music that is uplifting. And lastly, pay attention to your dreams. Your dreams are one way with which your intuition speaks to you. You are your own healer, and you can transform your life through balancing your chakras.
